If you are new to the world of internet, let me warned you that this cyberspace is not that simple as you think. Though internet serves an informative and educational medium, it can also prove fatal if you are not really sure of what information you are entering in the cyberspace. With the advent of more and more complicated technologies that are made to make our lives simpler, we see people misusing the technology to their advantage and make fool out of those who are not even aware of what exactly is happening. Pfishing also known as Phishing is one of the new evil that you need to be aware of when you are online.

Phishing is a method where fake con men uses a fake email and make it look like the email has come from a legitimate source. This email is masterly designed to hook you up into giving your personal and financial information which these con men use later on to rob you virtually. These scammers clone your identity and flush out all the cash from your bank accounts and charge your credit cards and make you their next victim.

So how do you avoid such situations? Well, the best option you have is not to provide any personal or financial information through emails or chat. In case if you think that the email is genuine, you can always approach your bank and sort out the matter. Such scam emails also have phone numbers which you should never dial. Remember that these emails are very attractive that lure you to give out your personal and financial data. If you have received any such email that claims that it is from your bank, you can provide the fraud email to your bank so that they can investigate and find the culprits.
