Save Yourself from Email Fraud
Emails have become really popular around the globe as it makes communication easier and faster compare to the normal postal services or courier service that take a day to send in your letters and documents around the world. Today, there are around 60 percent people on the globe that have an email address because they would like to be in touch with their loved ones no matter wherever they are. Hackers have hence used email as one of the tools to spread viruses and worms because the rate at which an email moves from one inbox to the other is phenomenal.
So how do you save yourselves from this email fraud that is really going strong across the world these days? Sometimes when you check your inbox you might see some emails that are from persons that you don’t really know or you haven’t even heard about them. It is advisable not to click and read such emails because it can be possible that it contains virus and spyware that can damage your computer and spread to other possible connections that you have. These emails might look very enticing and attractive because the hackers want people to open up such emails that would trigger viruses and malicious softwares.
Some emails might look like they are from reputed sites like Yahoo and so on but they are not. These hackers are really smart people and they know that you won’t open emails if you don’t see familiar names on the email, so they access personal information of other people and send in viruses through their IDs which makes you think that the other person has emailed you the virus and not them. Also you should avoid emails that you think are from your bank and that they are asking for your credit card and social security number, or username and password for your online banking.
