Internet has really changed our world and though it has brought us many advantages, it also has created a havoc which has opened up new doors to the world of crime. If you have the facility of accessing your bank accounts right from your laptop, even the criminals and hackers have the advantage of hacking into your account and to sap up all the money you have in your account. Apart from that malicious files like viruses, worms, trojans, spyware and adware are some other problems that have come up after the internet boom has spread all over the world.

Recently, we have been hearing more about the Internet Protocol crimes, but do we really know what exactly an IP crime is? In simple words, Internet protocol crime is where criminals misuse the internet protocols and also misuse intellectual property of someone by duplicating or illegally accessing the data. However, you should be aware of what IP addresses are if you really want to know more about IP crime. In layman’s term IP addresses are nothing but a specific number which is assigned to each computer. This acts like a name of a computer which is absolutely unique.

Hackers and intruders hack into the system using IP addresses which means that they replicate the IP address of someone and communicate with your computer that they are friendly and your computer let’s them in seeing that there is no threat. Once they are connected with your system these hackers access all your database and checkout your details and you do not even have any idea that your system has been hacked. They leave and trigger viruses and spywares in your system which corrupts your system or send is regular data to them about what’s happening in your system.
