		<description>Well, the main reason is that Wifi is very low level RF!  Some other forms are not! 
Wifi (used on planes) is 2.4 gig or 5.8 gig, and that at low levels those doesn&#039;t appear to have any effect on the rest of the aircraft systems.

They get internet off satellite and then use wifi within the plane. The system is still in test mode and for the money they charge for it, I don&#039;t need it that bad in flight!  It isn&#039;t very fast in actual use but it works.

There are very few wifi equipped aircraft these days but more are comming.</description>
